Melissa's Crystal Loop Project

Melissa e-mailed me in June 2003 explaining that she was taking part in a charity project. The project was that everyone was given a 7x7x7 wooden box and asked to make something really neat. Melissa found my website, told me the plan and I also caught the excitment of this worthwhile project.

She toiled for over a month making this working loop crystal set which as you see doubles as a piece of art. There are wheels on the base that allow the entire radio to be turned to receive the station the best.

This radio will be auctioned off and the money given to charity.
